Victory Scriptures: Meditating on God’s Promises

We cannot overestimate the power of filling our hearts, minds and spirit with God's Word.

Hebrews 4:12 For the Word of God is living and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing apart of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

John 6:63 It is the Spirit that makes alive, the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit and are life.

Psalm 1:1-3 Happy (blessed) are those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, Or take the path that sinners tread, Or sit in the seat of scoffers; But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And on his law they meditate day and night. They are like trees planted by streams of water, Which yield their fruit in each season, And their leaves do not wither. In all that they do they prosper.

Deuteronomy 28:1,2 If you fully obey the LORD your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the LORD your God will set you high above all the nations on earth. All these blessings will come upon you and overtake you if you obey the LORD your God:

Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of your mouth; You shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to act in accordance with all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, And then you shall be successful.

Proverbs 4:20-23 My child be attentive to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them escape from your sight; Keep them within your heart. For they are life to those who find them, and healing to all their flesh.
