Victory Scriptures: Comfort and Strength

1 Peter 5:6,7 ‘...Casting all your anxiety (cares) on Him, because He cares for you. Humble yourself therefore under the mighty hand of God, so that He may exalt you in due time.’

2Timothy 1:7 .’..for God did not give us a spirit of fear, but rather a spirit of power and love and of self-discipline (a sound mind).

Romans 8:31,39 What then are we to say about these things? If God is for us, who is against us? He who did not withhold His own son, but gave him up for all of us, will he not with him also give us everything? Who will bring any charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies. Who is to condemn? It is Christ Jesus, who died, yes who was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who indeed intercedes for us. Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will hardship, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, for your sake we are being killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep to be slaughtered. No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Matthew 11:28-30 Come to me, all you who are troubled and weighted down with care, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke on you and become like me, for I am gentle and without pride, and you will have rest for your souls; For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Philippians 4:13 I am able to do all things through Christ who gives me strength. v19 And my God shall supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

Hebrews 13:5,6 ...Be content with what you have; for God Himself has said, "I will never, never let go your hand: I will never never forsake you." So that we can fearlessly say, "The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid: what can man do to me?"

Isaiah 43:1 But now, says the Lord your Maker, O Jacob, and your life-giver, O Israel: have no fear, for I have taken up your cause; naming you by your name, I have made you mine. When you go through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they will not go over you: when you go through the fire, you will not be burned; and the flame will have no power over you.

Isaiah 54:17 No weapon which is formed against you will be of any use; and every tongue which says evil against you will be judged false. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness comes from me, says the Lord.
